The Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is the superm legislative body in the United Kingdom. This means that the laws of the Untied Kingdom are debated and stated in the house of parliaments. It is located in Westminster, London. The house of parliaments is containing of two houses the house of lords and the house of commons. The house of commons is made up of men and women who were chosen by their people in an election and they were chosen to represent their areas. The house of lords lost most of it's power, except to debate decisions made by the house of commons. The house of commons is known for it's green seats as it is shown in the following picture:

The house of commons has more power than the house of lords. It is the place where the national and international policy of the UK is determined or stated. MPs are men and women who form the house of common and they are called Members of Parliament. Each one of them represents a geographical area. This geographical area is called a constituency. A member of a parliament is elected in general election of their constituency. When all MPs are elected, the political party with the most MPs forms the government. The Leader of the Party with the most Mps becomes Prime Minister.
The Curent Prime Minister for United Kingdom is Mr.David Cameron :
David Cameron is the leader of the conservative party and he is the prime minster with the help of Nick Clegg the leader of Labor Democrats party. The Prime Minister selects some MPs to become minister, and thy run government departments. Even if an MP becomes a minister, he or she still has responsibility for his or her constituency
